Rhode Island Credit Union wires funds to domestic and international institutions that are capable of receiving the wired funds.
To receive wire transfers to your Rhode Island Credit Union account, please provide the sender/financial institution with the following information:

- Final Credit: Member’s Name, Address and Account Number with Rhode Island Credit Union
Wires sent to us from an international bank of origin must first be sent to a corresponding US bank for further credit to Alloya Corporate Federal Credit Union, as they cannot accept international wires directly.
To process an outgoing wire transfer, you should:
- Contact the recipient of the funds and obtain the complete wiring instructions. These instructions should include the following information:
- The full name, address and American Banking Association (ABA) routing/transit number of the receiving bank, and also for any intermediary banks.
- The recipient’s full name, address and account number
- All addresses must be a physical location/street address, and cannot be a PO Box
- All wires will require a statement of purpose for the wire
- International wires may require a Bank/Sort Code, SWIFT code or IBAN. Please check with the receiving bank for their complete wiring instructions.
- To be sent the same day, wire transfer requests must be received by 3:00 pm for domestic wires, or by noon for international wires.
